Welcome to English Adult Ministry at FCCD
Our overall English Ministry at FCCD is WE FCCD which stands for Worship, Evangelize, Fellowship, Commit, Care and Disciple. Through these six actions we are to grow in Unity and mature in Jesus Christ, Our Lord and Savior. (Eph 4:13; Col 1:28; Heb 5:14)
Our Service is a contemporary worship and the pastor preaches expository preaching based on selected book in series. Currently, we are on the book of James. Occasionally, we invite guess speakers. The English service start at 11:30 am-12:40 pm.
Our Adult Sunday school is in the form of discussion group based on the book we selected at the moment. In the past, we have used the book by Philip Yancey, What’s So Amazing About Grace?; The Jesus I Never Knew; Bible Jesus Read; Lee Strobel, The Case For Christ, John Piper, The Pleasures of God, Jim Cymbala, Break Through Prayer, Etc. In additional, we invite a guess teacher to lead us to the better understanding of the bible quarterly. Our Sunday School starts at 10:15 am -11:15 1m.
Based on the participants’ schedules, we have fellowship at different places.
